SBA wins award for being environmentally responsible

Congratulations to SBA’s Smithfield factory on their recent award for Innovation from Sydney Water under the “every drop counts” programme for achieving a significant reduction in water usage by recycling our waste water within the operations. SBA is the first company in NSW and Australia to use recycled water for such an application in the food industry.  
 
The process was seen as innovative as it offered technical & process benefits and had a positive environmental and social impact.
